About me

My Biography

“I am Asaf-Ud-Doulah, an Electrical and Electronics Engineer born in the magnificent city of Chittagong, a city of harmony well-decorated with nature’s beauty.”

I grew up experimenting with various remote-controlled electrical toys during my childhood. Back then, I used to play with some basic electric kits and household appliances where I used to breakdown parts and reconstruct them as per my will even though I did not have a proper understanding of their working principles. I wanted to have a deep understanding of them but I was held back due to lack of guidance and some unfavorable circumstances. But my enthusiasm never faded.

Speaking of my academics before university, I attended Hazi Mohammed Mohsin Government High School for Secondary School Certificate and then Bangladesh Navy College for Higher Secondary School Certificate. Apart from academics, I have been actively involved in extracurricular activities since childhood. During the school days, I have been involved with the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, which helped me grow as a critical thinker through participation in different training camps. My agility and enthusiasm helped me to serve as the Youth Chief of the school unit.

After college, I had the honor to serve as the Cadet Surgent of the Platoon of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC). My responsibility was to lead 500 people of a particular platoon and 2 ATE Camps. The camp brought together a selected group of highly trained cadets. It has been a wonderful experience for me as it allowed me to learn from talented individuals.

I always had huge aspirations in serving the nation by being in the Bangladesh Navy. When the time came to go through the assessment exam for Bangladesh Navy after college, I rushed to the exam without any second thought with huge expectations. Unfortunately, I ended up being rejected during the process which left me devastated. With many options to go for except being a Navy, I decided to bring the childhood engineer out of me. Hence, I went on to pursue a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from American International University – Bangladesh, a highly reputed university for engineering located in Bangladesh.
